Accessibility Policy

The practice is committed to complying with the relevant regulations, legislation and the GDC Standards to provide caring and inclusive environment for all patients.

The practice is located on the ground floor and has two steps at the entrance. Accessibility ramps are available for patients’ using wheelchairs. A doorbell is positioned at an accessible height to alert our reception team, who will be happy to assist.

Most surgeries are wheelchair accessible, and assistance is provided to help patients transfer to the dental chair when needed. If this is not possible and treatment is required, we will arrange for care to be provided in a practice with suitable facilities.

At reception, a hearing induction loop is available and leaflets and practice information are available in large print. Team members receive training in procedures relevant and important to people with a disability and strive to use language that is easy to understand and meets the needs of all patients.

If you have a disability that we should be aware of, please contact us before your appointment. We are happy to make any necessary arrangements where practicable to accommodate your needs.
